General Guidelines
Below is a list of core tenants that all players and staff must understand and abide by while using PetCraft Network services. If you have any questions, please contact the admins.
Treat others with respect.
All players have the right to be addressed and spoken to in a friendly, respectful manner. We're all here to have fun, let's keep everyone's spirits up!
Harassment of any kind is not allowed.
Trolling—a specific type of harassment defined as continually provoking a person/situation to get a response—is not allowed.
Discrimination is not tolerated.
Sharing negative comments (or other content) related to gender, skin color, sexual orientation, or other personal qualities will not be tolerated and will result in immediate corrective action.
Advertising / spamming is not allowed.
Advertising is promotion of other content, not associated with PetCraft, within our network without written permission. Spamming is filling in-game chat or Discord with multiple unneeded characters or messages. People know spam when they see it. Please avoid spamming, even unintentionally.
Keep chat family-friendly.
Chat should be family-friendly. This means certain subjects are not allowed in chat, including, but are not limited to, discussions about-or-around sex, drugs, religion, politics, death, grief, or other topics that would not otherwise be discussed in polite company. If you are unsure whether a topic is unsuitable, please contact an administrator.
If an admin asks you to move a conversation elsewhere or drop it, you should do so immediately.
Offensive content is not allowed.
Excessive swearing is not allowed. Severe or frequent vulgarity, especially when directed at others, is not allowed and may result corrective action against the player. Offensive usernames, item/mob names, skins, structures are not allowed. Players will be required to change or remove the item/structure if asked by an admin.
Additional Rules & Guidelines by Service
Additionally, each service operated by the network may have its own set of rules. See the articles linked below for more information:
What happens when someone breaks the rules?
Breaking our rules will result corrective action, either immediately or after an investigation. Corrective actions include warnings, chat mute, temporary banning, or permanent banning from the servers or entire network.
Every incident will be handled by staff on a case-by-case basis — while some offenses will receive a warning, others could result in an immediate permanent ban.
Use your best judgment while playing. If you have any questions, ask the Admins.
